How we recommend (and how pricing works)
An honest account of how Noravelle Stays recommends hotels and how affiliate commissions work — without false undercut claims or “cheap hotel” positioning. Primary links on hotel pages go to official hotel websites; affiliate compare slots are optional and not live yet.
Today: affiliate referral MVP
Noravelle Stays currently operates as an affiliate-only site focused on boutique and luxury-leaning US stays (not budget/cheap-hotel positioning). When partner links are live, we may earn a commission if you book through them — typically at no extra cost to you versus booking the same offer on that partner without our link. We do not process your card, hold inventory, or issue hotel confirmations.
What we do not claim
We do not claim that Noravelle Stays currently undercuts Expedia’s (or any other major OTA’s) hotel commission take, or that every stay is cheaper because you visited us. Rate differences depend on the partner, dates, property, and promotions — always compare and verify on the partner site.
Future goal: thinner direct hotel commission
Longer term, if we secure direct hotel contracts, our goal is a thinner commission structure than typical large-OTA defaults, so more value can stay with the traveler on higher-ticket and boutique bookings. That is a goal, not a guarantee, and it is not live until contracts and checkout flows exist. This MVP does not include payment collection.
Flight affiliates
Flight CTAs may use affiliate or metasearch partners (Travelpayouts / Kayak-class when live). Flight commissions are typically thinner than hotel affiliate payouts, and some hotel-centric creator programs pay $0 on flights — which is why we keep a separate flights slot in our affiliate config rather than forcing all air traffic through a hotel-only program.
We still disclose when links are affiliate. We do not sell tickets or process payment for air travel on Noravelle Stays.
How to use our CTAs
Buttons and links labeled Compare rates (or similar) send you toward partner comparison or booking experiences. Read cancellation policies, fees, and total price before you pay.

Do you undercut Expedia’s hotel commission today?
No. We do not claim to currently undercut any major OTA’s hotel take. Today we are an affiliate referral MVP.
Do you take my payment for hotel stays?
No. We do not collect lodging payments or act as merchant of record. Checkout happens on third-party partner sites.
What is the long-term pricing goal?
If and when direct hotel contracts exist, we aim for thinner commission structures than typical large OTA defaults. That is a future goal, not a present claim about live rates or savings.
Why do CTAs say Compare rates?
Because bookings and final prices live on partner sites. Soft CTAs set accurate expectations for an affiliate-only MVP.
Do you earn money on flight bookings?
Possibly, when flight affiliate links are live (Travelpayouts / Kayak-class or similar). Payouts are often thinner than hotel affiliates. We do not take your payment for tickets.
